Snow Day!!

It's quite unusual for us not to have snow by now, but we have had a beautiful fall. So, it finally started snowing last night and continues today. I finished my quilt Come Fly With Me a couple days ago and took pictures ...

I just had to zip out in the snow and take a few more. I was planning to go to the park today and take pictures, but that's not going to happen now! Now that winter is upon us, I'm ready to use it!
Quilt Stats:
Come Fly With Me -inspiration found at Red Pepper Quilts
Fabric- Kaffe Fassett Shot Cotton and Timeless Treasures Crosshatch in black and white
Backing is a plaid flannel
Bound in Kona Pepper
Measures 53"x70"
Straight line quilted in both directions, with hand stitching using Perle cotton in the leaf blocks.

The photo in the snow is my favorite. The cold background makes the firey colors pop!

Wow. Winter is cuddle time with a superb CFWM quilt for you. Love your colours and the design contrast with leaf blocks.
We are just hotting up in Oz. Too humid for stitchin' !!! and the cat hates her fur coat :(
