WIP Wednesday and Drunkin dreams!

I think I am seeing Drunkard's Path blocks in my sleep! I swear I wake up piecing curves 3-4 times a night!!
Drunkard's Path QAL
However, it has not been in vain. I finished all the blocks and put them together. This is how it looks before borders............
I have to say, I'm really happy with the layout of this quilt, considering the block construction happened as an accident ! From Dove to Oops! with one misplaced seam. Who knew!! Now, I will add a border of some sort and then try and figure out how to quilt it.
The second QAL in progress is the Test Your Skills Sampler.
Test Your Skills Sampler
I am learning so much from doing these blocks. My points have never been so accurate!! It still amazes me that we cat cut up fabric into little pieces, then put them all back together into something that looks fabulous!
The newest finished blocks are the Capital T block, and Ohio Star
My last project is a Christmas gift for a friend of my brothers. She lives in Thailand, in Bangkok, and so far her home is safe from the floods. She is a HUGE fan of panda bears, so when I saw this paper pieced panda, I had to give it a try. My skills at paper piecing are still on a beginner level, but I think it turned out well. I put it in a hoop so she can hang it. I also glued some black and white spotted ribbon around the outside of the hoop. I'm thinking of adding some rickrack to the back. Krista aka Poppyprint does it to her hoops and it gives it such a nice finish.
Now, I just need to get it there safely. It will go by mail to my brother in Vancouver, and then he will very carefully pack it in his suitcase!! I think I had better put it in some sort of box!!
So, that's it for the last week.
Maybe, now I'll get back to the quilts languishing in the closet :
Picket Fences
Ocean View From The Prairies
I also need to do a few more framed pouches
Now, its time to link up with Lee at Freshly Pieced. I love checking out everyone's work on Wednesdays!

That's a very impressive week and I love everything you showed us. I'm liking Oops!, so much more than your previous plans for the quilt, the colours of your skills sampler really pop and look great, and the panda, wow!

Your drunkart's path turned out great! Honestly I shey away for so much work with curved seams. You must be very patient!

Gotta say, I just love the layout you "stumbled" (Ha!) upon for your drunkard's path quilt. Really, I'm impressed and inspired!
