1st Fat Quarterly Finish!!

I'm sure just about everyone is aware of Fat Quarterly, the e-zine! Their latest issue is all about paper piecing!
My first project was in two parts: a foundation pieced block by verykerryberry is in the e-zine.
However, she followed this up with a tutorial on her blog for a fabulous tea pot cozy.
So, here is the one I made!

The teacup on the back is a foundation paper pieced pattern found at piecebynumbers.
Come back tomorrow for a chance to win the tea pot cozy, or something else, in a giveaway....I have reached 50 followers!
In an unrelated matter.....I awoke last night to a very bad sound coming from across the hall in my sewing room....
so, I jumped out of bed.......
and found this....
my design board in a heap on the floor with 2 criminals looking very sheepish....

I'm not sure which one did it, or if they joined forces to bring it down together!!
They have each been trying to climb the darn thing(it's just tacked up batting)ever since I put it up!
Brats!

Very cute teapot cozy!I have a solution to your kitty dilemma.I haven't tried this myself( I don't have a design wall yet) but I was thinking of getting a roller shade and maybe using spray adhesive to apply thin batting. If it worked, I could roll it up when not in use. Of course, if they climb up while in use, this won't help.:/
