Am I Swooning?....or

...in a drug induced haze! Well, actually, it's a little of each. I have had this ongoing back and chest pain for 2 weeks now with only a day here and there of relief.
I finally decided to go to the Doctor :-). She said it sounded like I popped a rib because of the chest pain; gave me some muscle relaxers and sent me to a Chiropractor.
As it turns out, I popped 2 ribs out of place!! Holy Crap! How did I do that! Apparently it can happen spontaneously.
So she used some sort of device to pop them back, then I had a massage and came home...still needing the muscle relaxers until all the localized muscle tension has subsided. They certainly make me feel loopy!
So, what's a gal to do except pull out a really complicated looking quilt pattern and start sewing....
*SWOON*
I think I got a dud pattern. It was almost impossible to read the cutting diagram! When I finally figured it out, I decided to cut the larger blocks at 4" and then trim down.
It took me all day to do the first block!! Naturally the time included some love with my seam ripper.....I am sure it was not my idea to start with a directional print! It must have been the drugs making me do it!!
So, here she is in all her glory. I'm pretty darn happy, but again, could be the drugs.

Block 2...here I come!

Nice block. Sorry about the ribs, but glad that it was relatively simple to "fix".

No - it's not the drugs. You are quite right to be VERY happy with this - it looks fab!
