WIP Wednesday

The sun is shining on another beautiful WIP Wednesday! I think Spring is going to come...don't you!
Well, what have I done this week.
I did the second block in Sew Out Loud QAL.

SOL QAL
Another fantastic block and so much fun to do.
Here is my version...

The third block is posted and I'm looking at fabrics for it! Woohoo!
I actually got back to Path to Tallahassee this week!
I really missed doing these blocks, but they are very time consuming and foundation paper pieced.
Here are the two I did...

On the week-end I did up a small doll quilt using the Lil' Twister ruler for a Twist Along .
The fabric is a charm pack of Just Wing It and borders are Bella Solids in Aqua.
I had a few self imposed issues, but in the end it was a quick and fun project.
Just need some borders and/or binding.

I didn't do any FMQ this week and I'm kinda mad at myself about that.
I need so much practice and can't afford to slack off!

Hope everyone else has had a great sewing week. I'm linking up with Lee at Freshly Pieced and Monika at The Needle & Thread Network.

Patti, you are really keeping busy! I have followed up on one of the things you do- the free motion quilting project-- and I am even starting to do some swatches! m

Patti, your projects are looking wonderful! I love the Tallahassee blocks especially. They may be a bit of a pain, but so worth it. That is going to be an awesome quilt when you are done!
