Go ahead...make my April...

A Lovely Year of Finishes A Lovely Year of Finishes

With only dreams of Spring, I am making a couple of things to brighten up my
dining room.
Maybe old man Winter will take the hint and got lost already!!
purple, orange, red and yellow in this beautiful organic bundle I was lucky enough to
win a couple months ago....
....will become paper pieced stars for a table runner!
Yummy!
I did get a start on it..

As luck would have it, our April challenge from the
is to use 2 colours which we picked(blindly) last month.
I got purple and white!
how lovely!
Hot pads and possible napkins, depending on my fabric stash ;-)
As much as I love purple, I don't have a lot of it.
We are allowed to add basic solids-white, grey and black.
so, two parts of a project to do for April's
A Lovely Year of Finishes.

Very pretty, my dear!!

I have a shocking amount of purple for someone who doesn't use it…. I'm trying to use more colours I tend to avoid lately. Good luck!!

Those fabrics are so cheerful, you couldn't fail to smile when using them!

Love the paper pieced block! I just started paper piecing and I may just have to make this star!

I remember as a kid being told that red, purple and orange all clashed. Well something has obviously changed and they look fab together in your bundle and your block!

What a cheery plan for April. It's funny how these long winters make us appreciate bright and cheery colours in the spring.
