You can take it to another level by adding a new border and doing the twister again! Just saw that in my latest quilt magazine ;-) Feeling fancy?Sana Sarotihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04922574934009011846noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4289209727117232239.post-8838328533529882412012-02-29T04:25:52.691-06:002012-02-29T04:25:52.691-06:00Gorgeous quilt! I'm just putting the binding on now and I'm so happy with the finished quilt. I have cut out all of the leftover squares and trimmed them to 2" square and made them into a Mug Rug. I am currently cutting into the leftover borders so I can use them as a border on the Mug Rug. So really no waste at all! I only have the Lil Twister ruler but I'm thinking of treating myself to the big Twister ruler at the next Craft Show. <br />Happy Sewing!Helen McNaught @ AuntyHennyshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15311540720249552211noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4289209727117232239.post-17096523735890295572012-02-28T21:17:21.069-06:002012-02-28T21:17:21.069-06:00I made my first twister a couple of weeks ago. But I love the look that results. I like the way yours turned out, though! You're a better person than I - I threw away the carcass without saving the salvageable bits.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4289209727117232239.post-83498942720651232942012-02-28T14:03:52.604-06:002012-02-28T14:03:52.604-06:00Awesome!Awesome!Cindy Sharphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04694393041670847676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4289209727117232239.post-21566532994756086972012-02-28T13:27:39.237-06:002012-02-28T13:27:39.237-06:00I hate wasting fabric too but I love your finished...I hate wasting fabric too but I love your finished result. That would be the downside I guess. But the results are awesome.Heather D.https://www.blogger.com/profile/07536310683899818314noreply@blogger.com
