Well, it doesn't feel like I accomplished much this week, but looking back, I guess I did!
So much of my time was spent doing some fiddly foundation paper piecing....
These are the starting blocks to Path To Tallahassee.
It seems like it took forever to do these 2 blocks.
Each one is made up of 16 foundation pieced units!!
Due to a measurement glitch on my part *sigh*, each block only measures 11" instead of 12".
However......
However......
I did make some good progress with the flower blocks that will be part of the quilt.
The cutting was very quick using my Go!baby Drunkard's Path die.
Each coloured flower also measures 11".....they needed to be cut down to match the Tallahassee blocks *sigh, again*.
The fabric I am using is mostly Aunt Grace Circle of Friends.
I have no idea what kind of layout I will use for this quilt!! Is that really weird?
Hopefully something will come to me as more blocks are constructed :-).

I also completed a few more blocks for the Flickr Japanese x and + block swap. These are quick and fun to do, with fabrics being scrappy!
I did absolutely nothing with my leftovers from last year! Already my resolution is in disarray!
I'm signed up for 3 different FMQ learning groups, but haven't even started the first samples yet!
I definitely need to get to them this week so that I don't get left behind!

Patti you have gotten loads done! I love how you keep torturing yourself with paper piecing...and yet where you see flaws I only see perfection. I love your paper piecing!!! Great colors, a nice contrast to the icky winter I am sure you are experiencing as am I!!!
Your paper piecing looks fine to me...I love the colours you have picked. Why do quilter have no will power when it come to starting new things when we have so many that we need to finish.
You have accomplished so much this week. I love Rebecca Lynne's comment about you torturing yourself making the paper pieced blocks. They look fabulous and I love the flower blocks too.
More x and + blocks, yours are fabulous, I love the cussy cut bird in the centre.

Wow! I'm really impressed. Your paper piecing looks amazing and I'm still in awe of the projects in your banner, haha. I love your scrappy blocks. You have a great selection of fabrics there.
I love the "randomness" of using different colours for the background in your Flower blocks. Both Sets of blocks look great.
