I have my ruler but haven't started on the QAL yet. I thought they said that the outside points didn't need to line up on this block? Maybe it can still be used...it's too beautiful to not have it in the quilt! And since the reindeer pattern is another that I have printed and just not gotten around to, it seems like we have a very similar style. I look forward to seeing what you do in the future :)

Love your work. The reindeer/stag are wonderful and I'm glad you took your block out of the garbage.
Alas, we have no snow - just a few sprinkles yesterday. - 12 December 2012 at 07:59

I love you QAL block just the way it is. It almost gives things a sense of motion which really isn't so bad. I say keep it and use it proudly!

the reindeer wall hanging is wonderful! but sorry to see the difficulty you have had with the curves -- best to give it a try again, we learn best by our failures! Next time you will surely get it right!
And I think it is a myth at we make quilts all winter! I seem to do more sewing in summer sitting outside on my back yard deck with my little portable machine... - 12 December 2012 at 09:58
