Divide and conquer

I sure do love a good pattern, and this divided basket pattern by Anna @ Noodlehead is no exception!
I used a Kokka owl linen fabric which I won last year from Ali@
The spots is Spot On by R Kaufman.
The lining and pocket binding is Lush by Patty Young.
I really liked using the webbing for the handles, and wrapping them with some fabric.
I probably should have used the owls for the pocket, so you could see them, but they look nice on the back.
I had one little pucker while sewing the outside to the lining.......
...from this moment on, it will be known as a "design element"!
Here it is all stuffed with fabric!
Loved making this one, and will definitely be doing more.

What great fabric. Love those little owls! They almost look a little perturbed about something. :) The basket is perfect for filling with fabric.

So cute! I bought that pattern a few weeks ago but have yet to even open it. I'm pretty sure that everything I make has a "design element" or two...

I love your fabric choices but have been looking for a divided bag for a long time; and haven't taken time to figure it out for myself. Now I don't have to "reinvent the wheel". Thank you so much; I was happy to pay your small charge to buy your pattern.

I bought this pattern ages ago and haven't tried it yet. I will have to pick your brain about it on Sunday. :-)
