What a great bag the fabrics are divine! sara at sewsweetness shared a tip to use automobile headliner fabric in place of soft and stable and I will only use that from now on! I found it for 14.99 a yd and it is like 60" long and I had a 50% coupon! So much more economical and I cannot tell the diff between my bag using soft and stable and the headliner fabric.

Beautiful Bag. I use headliner foam instead of Soft and Stable, which I am told is nearly the same thing. Can't find the S&S locally, but Joann Fabric and Hancock Fabric sell headliner foam by the yard. It's not cheap, but you can use a coupon and it comes in a few neutral colors too. It is nice to sew through and even presses without a problem. I was worried it might melt, but not a problem.

Your fabric choices are perfect! I adore that Koi print. I'm so tempted to try this pattern, Janelle is such a great pattern writer.
