Sailboat

Not much sewing done this week as my brother was visiting. I did manage to put together this sailboat to add to the pieced backing for my Ocean View From The Prairies quilt. I added a piece of selvedge to the bottom thinking it looked like waves...but I'm not sure...maybe too cutesy. I might have to undo it.
I also got to change one of the dies of the Go!baby that I won from Caraquilts. I read on RPQ that combining a 4 7/8 triangle and a 3" HST will make a flying geese block! So I replaced the circles with the 4 7/8 die. Can hardly wait to try it!

Hi Patti,

You read my mind! If I had won a Go Baby, I, too, would have wanted to change to that combination of dies to make flying geese! I read about it today, too.

Very cute boat! But not TOO cute, if you know what I mean.

I love the boat just the way you have it.
