I must say I am loving these blocks! Even though they take forever to cut, and I seem to be on directional craze here, they piece together beautifully.
I am so grateful for the hint to cut the larger blocks at 4" and then trim down to 3.5! I has saved me a huge amount of angst!!
So, 3 more blocks are done.......
Not totally convinced on the middle one. It looks pink, but it's NOT! I may have to send it to the "future pillow" bin.

I like that...the future pillow bin. It might also be home to some future minis.
They're gorgeous!! And yes, good on you for cutting your HSTs a bit bigger and then trimming. I do not know how it's even possible to get perfect HSTs the way the pattern tells you to do it.
Your blocks are looking great. There is a lot of work in them. You are very patient!
These are looking great! I especially love the top one, but may agree with you on the middle.
