ALYoFJune 2014...not so much!

Apparently setting goals is so much easier than actually accomplishing them!
I was supposed to have my Michael Miller Challenge project done for this month, but it just didn't happen. The same pieced strips are sitting in a pile somewhere waiting to be magically transformed into something beautiful...

I just wasn't all that inspired, so it still sits.
My time hasn't been completely wasteful though.
I did put a quilt together! It is a baby quilt, and I was pattern testing! So much fun!
Photos at a later date.
I also managed to add a few more items to The Tutorial & Fabric Busting Project.

Two zipper storage trays. Top tray is from a tutorial by Ayumi @ Pink Penguin
Bottom tray a tutorial from Sherri @ Threadridinghood

I hadn't made any open wide zippered pouches for a while, so I made 2!
Tutorial by Anna@ Noodlehead

I'm just a tad disappointed in my ongoing Economy Blocks quilt.
I seriously thought I had done so many, but it turns out to be only 46!
Good thing I'm not on a deadline with this.
They are fun to do though, so I'll keep at it...
So, I'll be back in a couple of days to post July's goal for A Lovely Year of Finishes!
I'm sure I'll get this one done, as I love it so!

It is hard to work on something when it is not inspiring you, I am sure the Challenge quilt's time will come :)
