Finished Kissy Fish

These are the final pics of this quilt! I made this binding last Sunday. The quilting is all straight line which I did myself...nothing too exciting but I think it works well with this quilt. Love the built-in even feed foot on my sewing machine. This is the first time I've used it.
Then after machine sewing the binding to the front , I hand stitched the binding to the back while watching Zen on Masterpiece Mystery on PBS on Sunday night! I really enjoy doing the stitching while watching tv- very relaxing for me. I also did some decorative stitching using Perle cotton #8 in the triangles all around the quilt. This was something else new for me! I'm getting adventuresome in my old age(just turned 58!)
This is the finished quilt. the back has some left over pieces from the front.
The details:
Quilt design by Lee at Freshly Pieced
Fabric is Frolic by Sandy Gervais with a little bit of Just Wing It and Freebird by MoMo, and Origins by Basic Grey.
Backing is Sweet Broderie by Rosalie Quinlan for Lecien
Measurements are 39x50

I love the fabrics you used! So fresh and bright! And I am glad I am not the only one who enjoys a good tv marathon while I stitch!
